About the Maker

Maldon Salt produces the world’s most celebrated sea salt flakes from the coastal waters of Essex, England, utilizing traditional pan-boiling methods since 1882. Salt masters patiently draw and heat local brine in open evaporators until the crystals form entirely under natural conditions. This slow, low-intensity crystallization creates soft, hollow pyramid flakes that crumble effortlessly to provide a remarkably clean flavor profile with no bitter aftertaste. It is a legendary finishing salt relied upon by top kitchens to deliver a clean burst of salinity and an elegant tactile crunch just before serving.
