Casa Forcello - Strawberry Balsamic Compote

Ripe, juicy strawberries are a natural match for rich, syrupy balsamic vinegar. This luscious compote is bright and fruity with a hint of acidity.

About the Maker

Casa Forcello is a woman-owned, artisan preserve label in Mantova, Italy, that masterfully revives the region’s traditional sweet-and-spicy mostardas. The brand utilizes her grandmother’s heirloom recipes to transform fresh, locally harvested fruits and vegetables into chunky, vibrant condiments. Every batch is highly labor-intensive, relying entirely on a slow, patient candying process in natural juices mixed with drops of potent mustard extract to deliver a fiery kick. Free from any artificial preservatives or thickeners, these gourmet jars provide the ultimate, sophisticated sweet-heat contrast to elevate your next charcuterie board, aged cheeses, or roasted meats.
